This is the baby photo prop I just finished knitting for my sister’s photography business. It’s perfect for any newborn Clemson Tiger fan or baby in need of a halloween costume.
Hopefully I’ll soon have the pattern for sell on Etsy. In the mean time, feel free to email me at meganfallow@gmail.com if you are interested in purchasing the pattern ($4.50) or a completed project ($28). Enjoy!

This is the new hat I knitted out of alpaca for my hubby to wear once it gets cold. If anyone is interested, I would love to knit another one in the same or different colors. Just email me at meganfallow@gmail.com

Oh the things I decide to do on the weekend. If anyone is interested in trying to make their own crayon art, here is how.

I took me a bit longer to complete mine than the lady doing the tutorial because I wanted a more layered drippy look. I definitely have plans to expand upon this medium and process; I just hope I”m able to find the time to do it!

Dinner at the Fallows a couple of nights ago. We had shrimp and veggies that I marinated in an Italian dressing and then corn that was buttered before Matt grilled it. Once everything came off the grill, we added a little mayo, Parmesan cheese, and lime to the corn. I know it sounds extremely weird; I was hesitant to try it myself. But, it was sooooo good! I would totally recommend it.

This is a new ear warmer that I’ve knitted. Rather than use buttons to fasten it, I chose to use legos :) I’m not a huge fan of wearing hats in the winter because they flatten my hair and create an unsightly mess when taken off. However, up until this point I’ve had no choice since I’m always cold. I’m super excited about wearing it once the weather gets cold and who knows a lucky few might get one as a gift…

These are my new minibusiness cards! I love that they can actually serve many purposes…tags, bookmarks, business cards, and lots of other stuff. The website I ordered from provided a lot of user friendly options and actually allowed me to add as many patterns/images/designs to the front side as I wanted.

This thing is so cool because of all the ways it can organize your stuff in such a small space. It has a little shelf for keys, hook for umbrellas, slots to place a hanger, and so many other possibilities. I would absolutely love to have one of these in my closet or in my office.

I love my Volkswagen a little too much, and these Superbowl commercials just made me smile.

So, I was just checking my email yesterday, and I came across a link to this cool device that assists the blind. I know I take my sight for granted, and very rarely consider how blindness would directly effect my life. However, this device looks like it could potentially open up a lot of possibilities for the blind and help them in new ways.

The Haptic Braille is a mouse-like device that’s capable of translating ordinary text into braille on its surface. This means that the blind can read virtually anything the sighted can. The technology uses optical character recognition. Simply skim it over any text and wait for the haptic feedback. I like how you can pocket and carry it over to the library. Just imagine how many books literally become available at your fingertips. Splendid!

It’s time to move on and discard phone alarms and clocks! This is the new age people; we need cooler and hipper gear like this Alarm Pillow! It gently vibrates at the given hour, to wake you up with a buzz. And if you don’t get out of the bed, your head-weight acts as the snooze trigger. How awesome is that! The label-trigger is clever and fitting.

So this looks insanely cool…but I think It could have a few issues with readability on your hand. Also, if you have small hands will you be able to see the whole scree? Either way, I hope the issues get worked out soon.

One of the Top 10 sites from How

I really love the set up of the site and it’s simplicity but fun details. It takes a while for some images too load, but most of it was worth the wait.

$20 for 4 Movie Tickets ($56 value)

These work at the AmStar in Anderson, and each one ticket is worth $14, which includes 3D.
